FarmPyramid.com was developed as a method to gain massive amounts of viral Facebook traffic. It works by encouraging and awarding people that share and promote the site to their facebook friends – the more they share, the more they are rewarded.

Services Performed:

Web Development - The over-all objective was to design a highly functioning app like environment that is easy for people to understand and use. Custom coding was scripted that allowed for ip address link tracking. I incentivised the site with farmville coins that people can actually earn by sharing the site and unlocking via an affiliate content gateway. I also implemented the use of audio into the development, creating an audio file that was entertaining in nature with instruction on how to unlock coins.

Marketing - The majority of the marketing was viral after an initial ppv push. I set up all facebook referral links to include a tracking url and tested text copy integrating the facebook open graph protocol.

Design - The main attraction of this site is the farmville coin incent – because I was incentivising with farmville coins, I gave the design a farmville look and feel – using similar fonts and colors without infringing on any trademarks.
